POWERFUL COOLING FOR CHARGING CABLES
When charging electric vehicles, high power is transferred through the charging cable, which is why optimal cooling of the charging cable is enormously important. With the help of our cooling solutions, cooling charging cables in e-mobility is no problem – even at very high power levels.

Charging cables are the connection between the charging station and the electric vehicle and are responsible for the transfer of energy as well as data transmission (depending on the manufacturer). Over the last few years, the power density has increased significantly, which has also led to a further increase in the waste heat generated at the plug of the cable.
In modern and powerful charging cables (e.g. HPC charging cables), a water cooler is therefore integrated in the plug, which is connected to a cooling system through a hose system integrated in the charging cable. There are several criteria for such a cooling solution, as it not only has to be extremely compact for integration into the charging pole, but also requires a sometimes enormously high cooling capacity.

With innovatek cooling solutions, however, this is not a problem, as we can efficiently manage even the highest power levels with our cooling systems. Our cooling systems are optimally designed, developed and produced in-house for your charging station in terms of performance and dimensions. All you have to do is install the cooling system in the charging station to fit perfectly.
